Hey Em, I hope you're okay. Being burnt out is an awful feeling. Just know that there are so many people who care for you so very much, and we're all willing to help in whatever way we can.
You're not alone, even though it may feel like it. If you're anything like me, you feel like you SHOULD be able to do it all. There's no such thing as a perfect mother. It's okay to take time out - it's actually a hugely important life lesson for Adelaide, to see you value yourself enough to have your needs met. You're teaching her that everyone deserves to be valued.
I know I'm rambling... lol... but I hope you get what I'm talking about!
I'm not a mommy yet, but I have experienced burnout of a work-related nature. Oh, boy, was I cranky! My poor husband...
It's important to recognize that you have burnout, like you did, so you can work towards being better. It doesn't go away on its own if you keep pushing yourself. Allow yourself to take a breather occasionally. As uncomfortable as you may be to do so, ask your support network for help when it feels especially bad. They love you! :)
I hope that it really is a fleeting feeling for you and that you'll recover in no time. But I like to echo that it is okay to feel burnout. Life can get hard, but it also can get better. :)
